FedEx Launches Direct Singapore: U.S. Flight, Enhancing Regional Trade and Delivery Efficiency

FedEx Express has launched its first direct cargo flight from Singapore to the United States, marking a significant step forward for trade and logistics in Southeast Asia. Operating six times a week with a Boeing 777 freighter, the new route reduces transit times by up to two days, offering faster and more reliable delivery between the two regions. With this enhanced connectivity, shipments from Malaysia will now be consolidated in Penang and Kuala Lumpur before being transported to Singapore’s Changi Airport for the direct flight to Anchorage, Alaska. This streamlined process is especially beneficial for high-demand sectors such as electronics, healthcare, and e-commerce, enabling quicker access to the North American market.
